NIX, Georgia Mae

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Tuesday, April 29, 2003 Georgia Mae Nix, of Chandler, died Saturday, April 26, 2003 in Tempe. She was 84. Born in Colorado City, Texas, she had lived in Arizona for the past nine years. She had worked as an operator for the Pacific Telephone Company in Riverside, CA. She was a graduate of Canadian High School in Texas. Survivors include her son, John Nix (Joan); one grandchild, Sherri Nix; and one great-grandchild, Ashley Salazar. Services will be held at 6:30pm on Wednesday, April 30, at Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler. Burial will be at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Cemetery in Riverside, California on Friday, May 2. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
