The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Tuesday, April 29, 2003 Gussie Mae Skinner of Phoenix, AZ went to be with the Lord on April 25, 2003. born April 5, 1918 in Rufe, OK, she moved with her famiy to Arizona in 1937. She is survived by 4 daughters, Dewanna Green (Paul, deceased); Joyce Emerson (John); Freda Mau (Charles) from CA; Carolyne Anderson (Roger) of Phoenix, AZ; 11 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Eston Skinner; grandson Howard Green, granddaughter Tanya Anderson and son-in-law Paul Green. Visitation will be Thur. May 1 from 5pm-8pm. A celebration of her life will be on Fri. May 2 at 10am. Both will be held at Greenwood Memorial Lawn Chapel at 719 N. 27th Ave, Phx., AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given and check made out to Calvary Chapel East Hills Church, P.O. Box 6927, Orange, CA 92863, where her grandson is pastor.
