Rose M. Zolkiewicz-Mitchell, 90, passed away Monday, May 5, 2003 in Phoenix, AZ. 

Rose lived in Hamden, CT before moving to Phoenix in 1988. She was born on October 14,1912, in New Haven, CT to Jacob and Sophie Sumecki. Rose is survived by her son Hank (Mary) Zolkiewicz of Cave Creek, AZ; daughter Joyce (Nick) Zolkiewicz-Lawrence of Berkicy, CA; grandchildren Cory, Gina, and Matthew. 

Visitation will be held on Friday. May 9, 2003 from 10- 11:30 am at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd., Peoria. Funeral Services will follow at 11:30 am. Interment will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at 1:30 pm on Friday. Remembrances in Rose's name may be given to the American Cancer Society, 2929 E. Thomas Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85016K
