The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 08/05/2003 Clara McMullin, 79, died July 30, 2003 at her home in Snowflake. Clara was born in Snowflake to Ralph C. and Elsie M. Frost Ramsay. She attended elementary and high school in Snowflake, graduating with the class of 1941. She then attended Flagstaff teachers college. It was there that she met and married Thomas L. Jones from St. Johns in the Mesa Temple. He served in WWII and was killed in action while serving in England. She later served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the northern states. After her mission she attended Utah State University in Logan, Utah. After graduation she moved to St. George, Utah. It was there she met and married Grant McMullin. They both taught school in southern Utah for several years before returning to Snowflake. She taught Home Ec. at Snowflake Union High School for several years. She has been a homemaker all of her life, was a member of Snowflake 5th Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is survived by her husband, Grant McMullin of Snowflake; three sons, Melvin L. Jones of St. Johns, Edward R. McMullin of Tempe and John E. McMullin of Gallup, New Mexico; three daughters, Brycene Lippard and Lana McMullin of Snowflake and Meridon Figueroa of Tucson; one brother, (twin) Clarence R. Ramsay of Monticello, Utah; one sister, Geraldine Randall; 22 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Blaine of Snowflake. Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 2 at the Snowflake Temple View Chapel, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with burial to follow in the R.V. Mike Ramsay Memorial Cemetery. Owens Mortuary of Snowflake handled arrangements
