Genevieve Wilkins died Monday Aug. 10, 2003.
Funeral services for Genevieve Wilkins will be held Friday Aug. 15, at 9:30 a.m. in Eagar at the Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-saints. A viewing will be held at 8:30 a.m.
Genevieve taught fifth grade for many years in Eagar and shared with her many students a love of reading.

Genevieve Phelps Wilkins, 92, peacefully returned to her loving Father in Heaven Monday, Aug. 11, 2003.
Genevieve was born April 9, 1911 in Mesa to Orson and Rebecca Phelps; she was the third of six children. She married James Wallace Wilkins in the Mesa, Arizona Temple Nov. 8, 1935. She was a school teacher for 37 years and taught hundreds of students and loved them all. She was also loved and admired by her students and many others who knew her.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she faithfully served in the variety of callings. She never turned down an opportunity to serve other people. She always did the right thing so that she would be worthy of the love and blessings she received from her Heavenly Father.
She is survived by her husband, Wallace of 68 years; three sons, Phelps (Kay) of Springerville, Stuart (Vicki) of Eagar, Jerry (Pat) of Roy, Utah; one daughter, Charlotte (Mike) Deets of Chandler; one sister, Elizabeth White of Mesa; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; three
brothers and a granddaughter.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Aug. 14 at the Chandler Stake Center on Ray Road and McQueen at 11 a.m. Services will also be held Friday, Aug. 15 in Eagar at the LDS Chapel at 9:30 a.m. Interment will take place at the Eagar City Cemetery.
Bunker's Garden Chapel handled the arrangements.
