CLEMENTS, Evelyn

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 08/11/2003 Evelyn Clements, 82, died in Payson Aug. 6, 2003. She was born March 30, 1927 in Syracuse, New York to Emory and Jessie Green. From Syracuse, Evelyn moved to Tucson, before retiring in Show Low with her late husband Robert A. Clements. Evelyn was very active in the community and in the Fool Hollow Homeowners Association. She also was a longtime volunteer providing Cancer Support and counseling to patients and to other civic organizations. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Margaret Jack Clements, four grandchildren, Eric, Shane Clements, Christina Papalii, and Anthony Clements. She is also survived by close family friends Tom and Connie Kakavas. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert A. and son Eric Clements. No services are planned. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled arrangements.
