POORE, Mary Elizabeth

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 08/19/2003 Mary Elizabeth Poore, 90, died Aug. 15, 2003 at Infinia in Show Low. Mary was born in Greenfield, Indiana Feb. 9, 1913. She was raised in Anderson, Indiana, where her mother ran a boarding house. She met her husband Paul Wise in Anderson and they married and had two children, Terry and Jeanine. She worked at Woolworth and Anderson Laundry for many years as a sales clerk. She enjoyed crafting with ceramics and also dining out with her family. Mary is survived by her daughter, Jeanine (James) Cuneo of Pinetop; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband Paul Wise (1971); second husband Floyd Poore (1976); her son Terry (1988) and sister Marth Nyboer (2001). Funeral services will be held in Anderson, Indiana. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled arrangements.
