The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 08/22/2003 Andrew Jus, 65, died Aug. 8, 2003 at the White Mountain Regional Medical Center in Springerville. Andrew was born in Poznan, Poland May 10, 1038 to Franciszek and Jadwiga Jus. He was a grinder in the metal finishing trade for most of his life. He became a citizen of the United States 20 years before his death and came to Arizona two years ago. He made his home in Springerville. His passion was traveling and he visited many countries and toured several of the United States. He began collecting stamps at a very early age and had collected stamps from all over the world. He is survived by his friend and loving lifelong companion of 18 years, Krystyna Kocol; daughter; Grazyna Wozny; and two grandchildren. Also his sisters; Halina, and Irena; brother Mieczyslaw; and brother-in-law, Janusz; and another sister-in-law. Also living is his former wife, Zofia. A Memorial Mass was held at St. Peter's Catholic Church Wednesday, August 20 at 3 p.m. Jewkes Mortuary, Springerville, was in charge of arrangements.
