RANKIN, Thomas Lee

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 08/28/2003 Thomas Lee Rankin, 75, died Aug. 24, 2003 in Show Low. He was born in Burkburnett, Texas and has lived in Arizona for 63 years, graduating from Glendale High School. He has been in Lakeside since 1967. Thomas and Mary have been married for 55 years. He was a sheet metal worker for the Local 359 for 50 years and a lifetime member of the Elks. He enjoyed ranching, hunting and fishing. Mr. Rankin is survived by his wife, Mary M. Rankin of Lakeside; two sons, Richard (Isabell) and Gerald (Tina) both of Phoenix; one daughter, Debra (Paul) Jones of Seattle, Washington; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 29 at 1 p.m. at Owens Mortuary in Show Low, with a viewing from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Glendale, Saturday morning.
