LAYTON, Archie Claud

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg Arizona January 13, 1972 Archie Layton - Archie Claud Layton died January 7 in Community Hospital. Mr. Layton was born January 6, 1906 in Republic, Washington. He was employed for many years in Spokane, Washington, as a Civil Service employee of the U.S. forest Service. He retired to Wickenburg eight years ago. The Layton’s made their home at the Palm Drive Trailer Ranch. Survivors include his wife, Mae, two sons, Harold of St. Louis, Mo., and Ronald of Portland, Oregon; and three grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters and one brother, out of state. Services and burial will be in Spokane, Washington.
