P.L. Kinnick – Services will be held for P.L. Kinnick at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Wickenburg Funeral Home. Rev. D.F. O’Sullivan will conduct the services. Burial will follow at Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Kinnick will receive full Military rites conducted by the American Legion.
Mr. Kinnick was a resident of this area for more than 10 years. He died at Whipple Hospital, Prescott, February 20, following a long illness. He was 70 years of age, a navy veteran of World War II and was serving as Master of Arms of Killis-Draper American Legion Post.
Local residents will recall that Mr. Kinnick's home near Monarch Wash on the Hassayampa River was demolished and swept away in the disastrous Labor Day flood of 1970. He was absent from home at the time.
