Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona March 30, 1972 Bernard Holzman – Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Wickenburg Funeral Home for Bernard Holzman, a 40-year resident of Arizona, who died March 25 in Community Hospital here. Rev. Gangzie of Phoenix officiated and burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery with full military rites. A veteran of World War I and with many years of service in different types of police work, he was active in local veteran affairs. He was born September 2, 1894 in Deming, New Mexico. Surviving are his wife Elnora; a daughter, Mrs. Muriel Weiss and two grandchildren in Phoenix; three sisters, Mrs. Ester Gschwind, El Paso, Tex.; Mrs. Ruth Corwin, Independence, Calif., and Mrs. Ebba Hintze, Cleveland, O. Also two brothers, Carl Holzman, Tucson, and Phil Holzman, Shawnee Mission, Kansas.
