Mardell Bretthauer, 78, long-time summer resident of Show Low, died Friday, Aug. 29, 2003 in Phoenix. 

She is survived by her husband, Don Bretthauer; son Bill (Karen) Young; daughter, Swanee (Ron, Donald, Caleb) Rickard; son, Bill Bretthauer; grandson, Bill (Diane, Billy and Rebekah) Young; and granddaughter Cathy (Wyatt, Krystal and Bubby) Huling.
