Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona August 10, 1972, page 9 John E. Johnson – Word has been received of the death of John Ehlane Johnson, 91. Mr. Johnson died in Phoenix on July 17. Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Johnson was a pioneer of this area, having lived in Arizona since 1893. He served as a telegrapher for the railroad beginning his career in 1896 at Iron springs, Arizona, and retired from the Utah Railroad from the Utah Railroad Co., in Provo, Utah. He survived by a sister Lucie Johnson of Prescott and two nephews out of state.
