Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona August 10, 1972 A one car accident Friday took the life of 22 year old Trudy Wright Johnson of Wickenburg and that of her unborn son. The accident, which happened approximately 10 minutes east of Ash Fork on 1-40 was caused by rain slick pavement. According to reports received here, Trudy and her husband Bill were moving back to Wickenburg from Flagstaff. She was driving the family car while her husband followed with the trailer. Mrs. Johnson saw a wreck ahead of her and in trying to stop lost control of her car and went into the ditch. She was taken to Flagstaff Community Hospital where she and her baby, born prematurely, died. Services were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. for Mrs. Johnson and the infant at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Wickenburg. Burial followed in Wickenburg Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband Bill, a two-year-old son, Joseph, her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Paul L. Wright; a brother, Paul L. Wright, Jr., two sisters, Joyce Wright and Mrs. Linda Crabb; and her grandparents, Mrs. & Mrs. V. S. Dickinson. She was the daughter-in-law of Mr. & Mrs. Joe Johnson of Wickenburg.
