Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona September 7, 1972 Ernest Roberts – Services for long time Wickenburg resident Ernest Roberts, who died at Community Hospital Sept. 2, were held at the Wickenburg Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Roberts was born in Choctaw, Oklahoma, Dec. 31, 1893. He came to Arizona about 57 years ago and has been a resident of Wickenburg for more than a quarter of a century. For many years he owned and operated a roofing firm here which he later sold to Art Rubash. Mr. Roberts was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and the Masons. He is survived by his wife, Roberta; a daughter, Mrs. Marge Jerrells, Wickenburg; four brothers and one sister; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
