Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg Arizona November 9, 1972 Elmer E. Hill – His sister, Mrs. Russ (Martha) Quinn has received the sad news of the sudden death of her brother Elmer E. Hill of Ames, Oklahoma, a resident of Wickenburg for several years and a frequent visitor when other members of his immediate family lived here. Mr. Hill died after a 2-day illness and was buried October 28 in the cemetery in Ames. He was born July 1, 1907. Surviving are his wife Marjorie and three children Dorsey, Doug and Steve, all of Ames; his mother, Mrs. D.W. Hill of Drummond, Oklahoma, also two brothers Claude and Chester, residing in Oklahoma, and three sisters, Mrs. Vesta Missall of Santa Rosa, Calif.; Mrs. Quinn and Mrs. Thelma Aardwell of Phoenix. Five grandchildren also survive.
