SWINNEY, Alora L.

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona December 20, 1972 Alora L. Swinney, 69, a resident of Wickenburg for 40 years died Monday at the Wickenburg Community Hospital. She was a native of Malvern, Arkansas. Funeral services will be at the Wickenburg Chapel at 1 Tuesday, burial will follow at the Wickenburg cemetery. Survivors include her husband, William D. Swinney, two brothers, Norman King of Hot springs, Arkansas, warren Johnson of Folsom, California, four sons, James J. Carter of Kingman, Morris C. carter of Chula Vista, California, David E. Carter of Phoenix, and Jerry M. Swinney of Oxnard, California, a daughter, Mary E. Hancher of Vista, California, two stepsons, J.B. Swinney of Searchlight, Nevada and Alton C. Swinney of Bakersfield, California, 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4700 North 12 Street, Phoenix.
