Laverne Gloria Evans of Peoria, passed away April 26, 2003. Laverne was a active member of Peace Lutheran Church and involved in numerous activities in Westbrook Village. She loved to golf & travel the world. 

Laverne is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Bob Evans & her grandson, Christopher Lee. She is survived by her daughters Leslie (Ed) Lee, Linda (Rich) Stine, Barbara (Kevin) Hill, Joan Evans, & sister Marion (Jack) Clarke, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Laverne was loved & supported by many many friends. 

Memorial service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, Thursday, May 1, 2003 at 10am, 18265 N. 89th Ave., Peoria, AZ 85382. 

In lieu of flowers remembrances in Laverne's name may be given to Peace Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society, 2929 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85016. Arrangements by Heritage Funeral Chapel, Peoria, AZ.
