The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 09/15/2003 Barbara J. Menter, 36, of Kingman, formerly of Flagstaff, died Tuesday, Sept. 9 in the four corners area. Bobbie was born Oct. 6, 1966 in Phoenix. In 1985, she graduated from St. Johns High School. After high school, she began working in the title business at TransAmerica Title while living in Flagstaff. She moved to Kingman in 1996 and worked for Transnation Title as the recording clerk. Bobbie then became a licenses real estate agent and was the assistant to Jan Leidenberger at Coldwell Banker. Bobbie was very active with her children, and her smile could be seen from a mile away. Bobbie is survived by her two sons, Travis and Garrett Menter of Kingman; her parents, John and Carol Bedway of Concho Valley; her brother, John Bedway (Lynnda) of Concho Valley; her sister, Theresa Young (Keith) of Flagstaff; her brother, Thomas Bedway (Kellie) of Flagstaff; her sister, Kathy Pena (Stanley) of Flagstaff; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many, many friends. A memorial service was held Monday, Sept. 15 at Norvel Mortuary, 814 E. Route 66, Flagstaff. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 16 at Mountain View Cemetery, 1301 Stockton Hill Road in Kingman. Immediately following the grave side service, a memorial service will be held approximately at noon at Grace Lutheran Church, 2101 Harrison in Kingman. Following the memorial service, a celebration of Bobbie's life will be held at the Schrade residence, 2425 Pueblo Dr. in Kingman. Coldwell Banker will be the host of a luncheon served there. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the memorial fund of Barbara Menter in care of her sister, Theresa Young at The Stockmen's Bank. Norvel Owens Mortuary of Flagstaff handled arrangements.
