MCGINNES, Brent Garfield

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 09/15/2003 Brent Garfield McGinnes, 23, died Sept. 8, 2003 in Lakeside. Brent was born in New York and has lived in Arizona for the past 22 years. He enjoyed the outdoors including hunting and fishing. Brent loved his nephews and nieces. He was a man with many skills; carpentry and woodworking were among his favorites. He was a very loving and happy son who will be missed by all. Brent is survived by his father, Mick McGinnes of Holbrook; mother, Cathryn "Cat" McGinnes of Phoenix; two brothers, Michael McGinnes of Washington, Patrick McGinnes of Holbrook; three sisters, Samantha Dawn McGinnes of Mesa, Susan McGinnes of Payson, and Stephanie Tuer of Payson; one god-son Patrick Wayne of Mesa; grandparents, Cornelius Michael Ferrick of New York, and Florence Marie Ferrick of Phoenix; great-grandmother, Bertha Skutt of New York; and numerous aunts and uncles. Memorial services were held Friday, Sept. 12 at Owens Mortuary Chapel in Show Low. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been set up at Bank of America in the name of Brent McGinnes
