CARDWELL, Henrietta

Published in the Arizona Silver Bell 21 Feb 1930 Page 4 Henrietta Cardwell, 70, colored, died at her home yesterday evening following a long illness. The deceased was born in Galveston, Texas, where she spent the first 23 years of her life. From there she came to Globe where she has remained since that time. She is survived by a sister, Amerlin Scott and a niece Bessie Alton. The latter is on her way here from Newark, N.J. Mrs. Cardwell was a member of the Colored Odd Fellows Lodge in Globe, the Household of Ruth, Eastern Star Organization, and the Knights of Pythias, Courts of Calanthe. The body is now at the Jones Funeral Home awaiting the arrival of the niece from New Jersey. Funeral services will be held under the auspices of the Household of Ruth.
