The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 10/03/2003 Mary A. Gerdenics, 92, died Sept. 27, 2003. Mary was born and married in New York City and moved to Tucson in 1940. She retired from Tucson Electric Company in 1973. Mary and her husband loved the White Mountains and spent their retired summers in Pinetop-Lakeside. She is survived by two sons, Joseph Jr. (Lenoir), Roger (Mary); sister-in-law Mary Mehringer; two step-granddaughters, Brenda Hickman and Glenda Ruffner (Dennis); one great-granddaughter, Kitrina; and two great-great grandchildren; and numerous other family members. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a contribution to be given to the Casa de la Luz, 400 W. Magee Road. Hospice which provided Mary with much love and compassionate care. Mary will be greatly missed by family and friends.
