Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona 8/14/1946 Page 4 Funeral services will he held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Federated Church for Mrs. Edith I. Crawford, mother of Mrs. Tom 0. Bellwood and Mrs. Alvin C. Lloyd, who died Monday night, August 12, at her home, 90 Grand Canyon Avenue, following an illness of eight months. Rev. Robert V. Price will officiate. Interment will he in the family plot in Greeley, Colorado. The deceased had made her home in Flagstaff since December 1926 with her daughter Mrs. Lloyd and husband. Before coming to Flagstaff, she and her family lived in Greeley, Colorado for 25 years. Born December 13, 1871 in Monmouth, Ill., she was married December 24, 1889 to Edwin Crawford in Kansas. Four daughters were born to this union, Edna, Alice, Grace and Mary. The couple lived in California for 14 years before establishing a home in Greeley, Colorado. In March 1921, Mr. Crawford passed away. In December of the same year two of her daughters, Edna and Alice, were fatally injured in an automobile accident, while enroute to Flagstaff to visit their mother, who was visiting at the home of another daughter, Mrs. Bellwood. The deceased was a devout Christian and a life-long member of the Presbyterian church. During her residence in Flagstaff she was affiliated with the Federated Community Church and took active part in the women's organizations. At the funeral services Mrs. Eldon A. Audrey will preside at the organ and Dr. Audrey will play the violin. Pallbearers will include Dr. M.G. Fronske, C.F. Deaver, E.C. Cogdill, William H Hudgens, J.Q. Thomas and Baxter Womack. Other than her two daughters named above, she is survived by two granddaughters, Beverly and Lorraine Bellwood of Flagstaff.
