Gordon Lewis Riley, 56, died Sept. 24, 2003 at his home in Whiteriver.
He was born in Whiteriver and attended school there. Gordon served his country proudly in the US Army in Vietnam. After returning from Vietnam he met his wife Louise and they lived in Phoenix for 33 years. Gordon worked for 25 years as a painter and later retired from the City of Phoenix. In his past time he liked fishing especially at A-1 Lake, and also attending sporting events.
Gordon is survived by his wife, Louise of Whiteriver; one daughter Marie (Jose Medina) Riley; one son Larold Riley; three sisters, Rose (Franklin) Quintero, Louise (Romeo) Massey and Gloria Walker; three brothers, Gerald Riley, Larry Riley, Jr., and Howard Riley; two grandchildren, Jermaine Riley and Christopher Medina and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. at the East Fork Lutheran Church with a two-day wake beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2 at the family residence in Whiteriver.
Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
