Max Willard Bloomfield, 69, died Oct. 9, 2003 at his home in Snowflake.
He was born Dec. 9, 1933 in North Henderson, Illinois and spent most of his early life in the surrounding area. He graduated from Alexis, Illinois High School and continued education at the Illinois State Police Academy and various schools with major equipment manufacturing. He moved from Illinois to Arizona in 1969 and has been self-employed since 1973 where he engaged in sales of various makes of tractors and implements. His love after his wife and family included collecting and restoring of antique tractors.
He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Bloomfield of Snowflake; three daughters, Denise (Jeff) Oscarson and Becky (Nick) Nicassio both of Scottsdale and Debbie (Randy) Hansen of Phoenix; two sons, Edward (Sue) Bloomfield of Chino Valley and Shane (Alisa) Bloomfield of Mesa; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson; two sisters, Shirley (Arley) Adams and Peggy (Dewayne) Magnuson; and one brother, Merril (Barbara) Bloomfield.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 8 at the Temple View Chapel, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Snowflake. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson Foundation.
