KAROL, Spencer T. (Spec.)

Spec. Spencer T. Karol was born April 13, 1983 in Alexandria, Virginia. 

Spencer was raised in California until the family moved to Holbrook while he was in junior high school. He graduated from Holbrook High School in 2001, and enlisted in the U.S. Army. After boot camp in Ft. Benning, Georgia, he was stationed in Darmstadt, Germany. He died while serving in Iraq Oct. 6, 2003.
 
Spencer is survived by his mother, Bridget Madison of Holbrook; father, Donald F. Karol of Irvine, California; two sisters, Simone Karol of Black Canyon City, Celia Karol of Irvine, California; three brothers, Sean Karol, Skylar Karol and Sheridan Karon, all of Holbrook; his grandparents, Sheila and Harry Lee Danziger of Palm Springs, California and Fred and Ruth Karol of Lakewood, New Jersey. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Guy Madison.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 18 at 10 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center in Holbrook.
