Mary Evelyn Robbins, 94, Yukon, Okla., passed away Tuesday, March 2, at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City, Okla. Mary was born in Benson, Ariz., on May 29, 1915, a daughter of Minnie Bell (Dublin) and John D. Walker.
Mary married Robert Allen Robbins on Jan. 20, 1935, in Prescott, Ariz., sharing 48 years of marriage prior to his death in 1983.
Moving to Yukon, Okla., from Albuquerque, N.M., to be with her daughter, she also lived in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., sharing time with her daughter there. Mary also lived in Prescott and Wickenburg, Ariz., San Leandro, Calif., Tucumcari, N.M., and Kansas City, Mo.
A homemaker and seamstress, Mary loved to play bridge, read and spend time with her prayer group. She was a member of the First Congregational Church, Albuquerque, N.M.
Mary is survived by daughters, Carol Ann Bryant and husband Bob, Susan Dee Robertson and husband Dale L. and Nancy Lee Sullivan and husband Tim; grandchildren, Lisa Kristine Sykes, Kim Marie Cheshire, Kelly Ann Sanders and John Casey Sullivan, and six great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Mary also is predeceased by her parents, brother, Johnny Walker, and sister, Dorothy Kezele.
Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army or the charity of one's choice.
A memorial service will be at a later date in Albuquerque, N.M.
