The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 10/24/2003 Dorothy Irene Cochran Smith, 84, died Oct. 19, 2003 in Joseph City. She was born in Goodland, Kansas to Benjamin and Clara Cochran. Dorothy is survived by four sons, Aaron, Arthur, Benjamin and Edmund; two daughters, Edna and Patricia; 36 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; two brothers, John and Frank and one sister, Cleo. She was preceded in death by her son, Wilford Jr.; and husband of 64 years Wilford Smith. Funeral services will be held Oct. 25 at 2 p.m. at the Pima Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be in the Eden Cemetery. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled arrangements.
