WARD, Oliser, Sr.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 10/31/2003 Oliser Ward, Sr., 83, of Holbrook died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003. He was born in Morton, Mississippi May 29, 1920 and became a resident of Arizona in 1946. Oliser was a retired pastor of Faith Temple Church of God in Christ. He was a veteran of WWII in the United States Army. He was a retired carpenter from local 2763 out of McNary. Oliser lived for the Lord and will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 49 years; a brother, sister; seven daughters; six sons and a host of grand and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. at the Holbrook Stake Center, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a visitation from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31 at Owens Mortuary in Holbrook and one-hour prior to the service at the church.
