Eugenio Tony Baca, 75, of Lakeside, a retired senior warehouse man for Salt River Project died Nov. 3, 2003.
Tony was born in St. Johns March 1, 1928 and lived half of his life there. He graduated from St. Johns High School in 1946, was a member of the St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church in Pinetop and was a US Army veteran and served in Italy and Germany at the end of WWII and during the Korean War. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 8987 in Eagar.
He is survived by his most loving and devoted family, beloved wife of 54 years, Sara; daughter, Rosalie Severson of Chandler; sons Rudy of McNary, Ernie and Rick of St. Johns; brothers Fidencio, Pat, and Johnny Baca of Springerville; sisters, Julia Perez of Thatcher, Cruz Milligan, Sophie Pena and Margaret Aragon of Springerville; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held Friday, Nov. 7 at 6:30 p.m. Mass service will be held Saturday, Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. Rosary and mass at St. Mary of Angels in Pinetop.
