Mr. West was born March 18, 1931, in Phoenix. He was a cattle hauling truck driver for 65 years before retiring in 2004. He was a member of Wingfield Cattle Co. and the Teamsters Union. He is survived by one daughter, Kathy West-Watts; one son, Calvin; six sisters, Burl Jackson-West, Bernice Johnson, Ardenia Essley, Ethel Schneider, Georgia Boaz-West and Margie Moore-West; four brothers, Thomas, Roy, Edward and Jimmy; one grandchild; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Venita Ann. Services will be at 1 p.m. March 13 at Church for the Nations, 11640 N. 19th Ave. in Phoenix. The Rev. Donald G.
