The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 10/20/2003 Varnell Chinche, 47, died Oct. 14, 2003 in Phoenix. He was born Nov. 12, 1955 in Whiteriver and lived there. He is survived by his sisters, Valentina Begay and Debbie Ethelbah; brother, Barney Massey; aunts, Arlene Cromwell and Mary Ann Davis; uncles, Robert Chinche, Wesley Chinche and Gilbert Chinche; and grandmother, Mavis Moody. A wake will be held Thursday, Oct. 23 at 1 p.m. at his residence in East Fork. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. at the Riverside Church in East Fork. Interment will be at Sunrise Cemetery also in East Fork. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
