BUTLER, Olga

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 11/18/2003 Olga Butler, 79, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003 in Mesa. She was born Oct. 9, 1924 in Mesa to Clark and Alice Gardner. Although her life began and ended in Mesa, Olga spent most of her life in the Show Low area. There she was a devoted mother and an accomplished homemaker. Olga was actively involved in the Mormon Church where she served in many ward and stake callings. She was also active in community service, especially in the public school. Olga was preceded in death by daughter, Donna Hall; son-in-law, Gary Hall. She is survived by her husband, Claude; daughter, Barbara (Ray) Talley; sons, Keith (Kareen) and Shirl (Anne); four sisters; one brother; 20 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Nov. 15 at The Church of Latter-day Saints, Sossaman Ward, 7145 E. Monterey in Mesa.
