Angeline D. Holland, 91, died Nov. 18, 2003 in Show Low.
She was born and raised in Barberton, Ohio the daughter of immigrant parents. Angeline was married to George Wendall Benedict and had a daughter, Florence. She greatly enjoyed her position as a comptometer operator at the Seiberling Rubber Co. The comptometer was a precursor to the adding machine. Angeline and her daughter moved to Arizona in 1946.
Shortly after that she met and married her second husband Clifford L. Holland. They were married on New Year's Eve in 1947 at a gas station in Salome, by the Justice of the Peace who also owned the gas station. They had one son Larry. In partnership with Vic Nelson, Angeline and Clifford opened Nelson - Holland hardware where she worked until the age of 72. After retiring they moved to Taylor, which Angeline dearly loved. She enjoyed going to Trapper's Café and openly welcomed all who came to her home. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, crocheting, listing to Polka music and eating chocolate.
Angeline is survived by her son Larry (Diane) Holland of Taylor; her daughter Florence Stafford; one brother, Lawrence "Toots" Debevec of Stow of Ohio; one sister, Florence Kedasic of Carlsbad, California; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Friday Nov. 21, at Phoenix Memorial Park.
Owens Mortuary of Snowflake handled the arrangements.
