Doyle A. "Bill" Williams, 75, died Nov. 24, 2003 in Show Low. 

He was born and raised in Clearfield, Pennsylvania. He entered the Army in 1945 where he served with the corps of engineers in the Pacific, especially China. After leaving the military Bill moved to Arizona and pursued a career as an auto mechanic. He lived in Tempe for over 20 years before moving to the White Mountains where he worked as a mechanic in Pinetop. Bill enjoyed occasional fishing and hunting in the area, and also like watching football and baseball.
  
Bill is survived by his two sisters, Viola and Evelyn.
