AGLER, Anna Mae

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 11/28/2003 Anna Mae Agler, 73, died in Overgaard Nov. 24, 2003. She was born in Santa Paula, California. Anna met Bob Agler at The Grace Brethren Church and they were married shortly after. She was active in the church as a Sunday school teacher. They had two lovely children, which she raised while working part-time as a switchboard operator for the phone company. She later worked as a teachers aid teaching handicapped children; she had a great amount of patience. In later years, she moved with her husband to Overgaard. Anna enjoyed traveling and also quilting, she won second place at last years quilt show at Blue Ridge High School. Anna, very much enjoyed spending time with her husband, they were inseparable. Anna is survived by her husband, Bob Agler of Overgaard; two children, Bruce S. (Joan) Agler of Portland, Oregon and Beverly A. Agler of Juneau, Alaska; sister Evelyn Bryant of Ventura, California. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
