She was raised in Clay Springs where she attended elementary school and attended Snowflake Union High School where she graduated with the class of 1963 at the age of 16. She attended BYU in Provo, Utah on a scholarship. Delight worked as a Bookkeeper for Babbitt Brothers in Holbrook and for an electric company in California for two years. Delight served as an organist in the church and in Primary. She loved to ride horses and to travel. She loved giving service to others, even though for the last several years of her life she was confined to a wheelchair. Delight loved serving in the church and especially loved attending the temple.
