WEIMASTER, Albert (Al) Edwin, Jr.

Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Sunday, March 7, 2010 Albert "Al" Edwin Weimaster Jr., 65, of Flagstaff, died March 4, 2010, after a valiant battle with cancer. He was born Dec. 2, 1944, in Russell, Kan., to Albert Sr. and Vera Brock Weimaster. Al married Cynthia Kilian on Aug. 20, 1965; together, they raised two children, Michael Shawn and Kimberly Renee. He lived in Flagstaff for the past 20 years after moving from Russell. Al owned and ran several businesses in Russell and later worked for Baker Brothers Flooring and most recently Home Depot. He truly enjoyed working for Home Depot and a good hand of cards, which he was good at. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was really looking forward to returning to work at Home Depot, where he had many friendships. He is survived by his mother, Vera Weimaster, of Flagstaff; son Michael (Lisa) Weimaster of Munds Park; daughter Kimberly Ihnat of Casa Grande; and two grandchildren. Al was preceded in death by his father, Albert Edwin Weimaster Sr., and his brother, Gerald Weimaster.
