Yurasko, George, loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. George passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 2, 2010.
"Dundee" was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania on June 10, 1925. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Edna, and their children Brian Yurasko and his wife Kathy, Cindy Tietjen and her husband Richard, and Georgetta Moliterno and her husband Joseph. He was the father of the late Joel and Shawn Yurasko. Devoted brother to Helen "Corky" Kralik, proud grandfather of Carlie, Katie, Douglas, Emma, Nicholas and Noah and, great grandfather of Kai.
Dundee graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1950 and went on to become a renowned metallurgical engineer. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. George will be remembered by all who knew him for his superior intelligence, sense of humor and will to live.
A viewing will be held at Camino Del Sol, 13738 Camino Del Sol, on Friday, March 5, from 3-6 p.m. Mass will be held in honor of George at Our Lady of Lourdes, 19002 North 128th Avenue, on Saturday, March 6, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George's memory to Hospice of Arizona, 19702 North Routzahn Way, Sun City West.
