TANNER, Chester Miller

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 01/06/2004 Chester Miller Tanner, 87, of Show Low died in Mesa Dec. 29, 2003. He was born in Snowflake Sept. 23, 1916 to Martin Ray and Prudence Miller Tanner. Chester was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Chester is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ella Tanner, and his four children, Linda Ely of Logan, Utah, Steven Tanner of Boise, Idaho, Prudy Loveall and Teena Foote both of Mesa; 22 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 3 at the Show Low Stake Center The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Internment will be held in the Show Low Cemetery. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled arrangements.
