LYTLE, Daniel Perry


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 01/09/2004 Daniel Perry Lytle, 91, a long time resident of Eagar, died in Tucson, Jan. 5, 2004. Dan was born in Eagar, Jan. 4, 1913. He worked at the sawmill in Eagar and saw it through its many changes and various owners. Dan's passion was fishing, camping and long drives in the mountains he loved. His survivors include his sons, Travis, Phoenix and Jay, Tucson; daughters Mattie Boyett, Tucson, Anita Logan, Springerville, Mary Jensen, Tucson and Lavon Arnold, Las Vegas; brother, William Lytle; and sister, Lucy Gigger. He had 23 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by is wife, Nell Rothlesberger; and son Dan Lytle, Jr. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Jewkes Mortuary, Springerville. Funeral services will be at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Springerville Chapel, Apache St. and Aldrice Burk. Jewkes Morturay, Springerville, handled the arrangements.
