SOLOMON, DeAne Bernice


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 01/09/2004 DeAne Bernice Solomon, 36, died Jan. 3, 2004 in Show Low. She was born in Show Low, and lived all of her life in Taylor. DeAne attended Taylor Elementary and Snowflake High School. She loved the outdoors and going camping and fishing in the mountains. She especially loved the fall seasons, as she would go with family and friends into the mountains to see the fall colors and to watch the leaves fall. DeAne loved little children and cared for them very much. At the time of her death she was employed at ALCO department store in Taylor, and was engaged to be married to Gerald Yates. DeAne is survived by her parents, Gary and Bobbie Solomon of Taylor; three brothers, William "Bill" (Christi) Solomon of Taylor, Craig Solomon of Taylor and Aaron (Tracy) Solomon of Shumway; one sister, Karen (Dave) Godfrey of Taylor; her fiance Gerald Yates of Taylor; grandmother's Pearl Solomon of Taylor and Bernice Jackson of Phoenix; five step-children, Krissy and Brent Davis, Jr. of Taylor, Ryan McCray of Show Low, Seanna and Wyatt Yates of Linden; 13 nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 8 at the Taylor Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Internment will be in the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled arrangements.
