Albert Lee Young, 71, of Eagar died Jan. 3, 2004 in Pima.
Albert was born July 28, 1932 in Winslow, to John Thomas Young and Margaret Susan Lyons Young. After graduating Winslow High School, he joined the U.S. Air Force. He married Patricia Ann James Nov. 12, 1955 in Winslow. After retiring from the Air Force in 1972, he moved his family back to Arizona and settled and raised his family in Eagar. Where he worked as a saw filer.
Albert was very active in his church and community, served at one time as a volunteer fireman, EMT. He also loved serving at the American Legion Post 30 in Springerville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; son, Thomas and grandson, Chad. He is survived by his two daughters, Tina (Russell) Hale, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and Lisa (Steve) Taylor of Central, Arizona; eight grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter; three sisters, Marylyn Kent of Phoenix, Betty (Thurman) Pugh of Winslow, and Josephine (Tony) of Wadsworth, Ohio.
