The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Tuesday, March 9, 2010 Christopher 'Kip' Proper 1984 - 2010 Christopher John "Kip" Proper, 26, of Camp Verde died Saturday, March 6, 2010. Kip loved his daughters, his family, and his friends. From the time he was old enough to carry his own fishing pole down to the river, Kip loved to fish and be outdoors. Soccer was his passion throughout his life; having played when he was younger and coaching his daughter Eliauna's team this past fall. For those who knew him Kip was generous and caring, full of life and laughter, independent and strong willed, and, sometimes, hard-headed. He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed. Kip is survived by his daughters, Eliauna and Aubreyel and their mother Katelyn; his mother, Elida Proper; his father and step-mother, Rod and Teresa Proper; his sister, Leonie Markgraf (Steve); his brother, Reuben Proper (Charlie); step-brothers, Stacey Barker (Leticia), Ryan Barker (Melanie), and Tanner Barker (Kelly); his grandparents, Richard and Leona Proper, Sophie Zellner; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruth Nichols; his grandfathers, Alfred C. Nichols and Leonard Zellner; and his step-father, Jeff Reed. A visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2010, at the chapel of Bueler Camp Verde Funeral Home, 143 W. Arnold Street, Camp Verde. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 12, 2010 ,at Parkside Community Church, 401 Camp Lincoln Road, Camp Verde. Interment will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery.
