WARREN, Nancy


The Arizona Republic 3/7/2010 Nancy June Warren, 67, of Mesa, AZ passed away on Friday, February 26, 2010 at the home of her family. She was born on August 17, 1942 in Atlanta, GA. In 1960, she graduated from Valley High School in Louisville, KY, married her high school sweetheart and moved to Phoenix. During her time in Phoenix, she began a family and began working at several jobs for the state and city. Her proudest being the last position she held as a Phoenix Police 911 Operator. She delighted in helping others in any way she could. In the late 1980's, she had to retire early due to poor health. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and especially her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Margaret Warren. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Warren D. and Sharon (Bingham) Briese of Mesa, AZ; two grandchildren, Jared and Madison; and longtime friends Ruth Cooper of Glendale, AZ and Georganna Albinus of Louisville, KY. In Nancy's desire to help others, she chose to be an anatomical donor to Research For Life of AZ. Information for this organization can be obtained at www.researchforlifeaz.org.
