RUMANN, Jerome M.

Jerome M. Rumann, 75, of Phoenix, AZ died Sunday, November 17, 2002. He was born January 5, 1927 in Chicago. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Genevieve to whom he was married for 47 years. He enjoyed a successful career as a truck driver for Chem Central and belonged to Teamster Local 705 for 38 years. He was a member of the North American Martyrs Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his children, Mariann (Michael) Mahoney, Patricia (Joseph) Mahoney, Deborah (James, Dec.) Riffey, Jerome (Dec), Michael (Dec), Denise, Philip, Geraldine, James, Thomas (Dec), 17 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; his brothers Donald (Therese), and James (Lillian); and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be November 20 at Tempe Mortuary 505 E. Southern, Tempe (967-1643). Funeral mass will be celebrated November 21 at Corpus Christi CC, 3550 E Knox, Phoenix (893-8770). In lieu of flowers, Jerry wished donations be made to St. Jude children's fund. Published in the Arizona Republic on 11/20/2002.
