AUGUSTUS, Richard Arthur

Mr. Richard Arthur Augustus passed Oct. 26, 2002. He was born Feb. 19, 1939 in National City, CA. He retired in 1989 from the U.S. Foreign Service having served in West Berlin, the Philippines, Kinshasa, Zaire and Frankfurt, West Germany. He also worked for Reynolds Electric in Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands, Thailand and Mercury, Nevada. He served in the Army from 1/30/59 to 4/2/62. He was preceded in death by his Father Lossie Augustus and sister Beverly Augustus. Survivors include wife Dianne, daughters Theresa Mongan and Anne Marie Augustus, Mother Catherine Augustus, sisters Pat Richardson and Betty Hoffman, brother Edward Augustus. Services were held Oct. 30, 2002 at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix. Published in the Arizona Republic on 11/21/2002.
