TORRES, Sabina

The Arizona Republic 3/10/2010 Torres, Sabina Madrid, 63 of Mesa, Az, joined God in Heaven on January 10, 2010 after a long courageous battle. The loving wife, mother and grandmother leaves behind the love of her life Efren. Four sons Jesus, Jose, Julio and Manuel. Seven grandchildren: Andrew, AnneLise, Angel, Christian, Richard, Manuel Jr. and Iliana. She also leaves behind three brothers Chano, Regino, Jose and one sister Tomasa. She served the Head Start Community for 32 years touching the lives of hundreds of students and their families. She will be loved and greatly missed forever. A memorial service will be held on Jan. 21, 2010 at 5pm at Queen of Heaven Mortuary 1526 E. Baseline Rd. Mesa. A funeral mass will be held at Jan. 22, 10am at Queen of Peace Church 141 N. Macdonald St. Mesa with internment to follow at Queen of Heaven.
