Jimmie R. Kendricks, 69, of Casa Grande died Dec. 31, 2002 in Scottsdale.
Mr. Kendricks was born March 4, 1933 in Craig, Colo., to William A. and Lillie M. (Turner) Kendricks.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a hospital maintenance worker. He enjoyed working on just about anything mechanical and overhauled motors. He enjoyed remodeling and made room additions to his home and also remodeled trailers. He also enjoyed fishing. He lived in Arizona for 32 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Myra Dias of Lafayette, Tenn., and Ruthie J. Miller of Cochise; two sisters, Helen Meeks of Madera, Calif., and Hazel Snodgrass of Coolidge; two brothers, Bill Kendricks of Texas and John Kendricks of Casa Grande; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son, Dillard Kendricks, and a grandson, Chad Layton.
The memorial service was Friday at Simes Mortuaries Casa Grande Chapel, with Pastor Harley Faber officiating.
